Oasys Day Spa

The facials my sister and I had for SpaFinder Wellness Week were well worth the experience. We have frequented many spas in NYC as well as vacation destinations over the years. This was a fantastic and pleasantly surprising introduction to world class, personalized service in a spa closer to home. The more intimate spa setting at Oasys Day Spa provided an expert caliber of service and products. This definitely was an unparalleled experience from Lisa and Mary Anna, and we cannot wait to return for more pampering and relaxation.

Seaweed facial
Lovely atmosphere, very small and intimate. Appreciated professional attitudes, no attempt to "sell" products. Facial was great, only improvements would be to ask client about "extraction" portion (other spas do this) and offer terry wrap that many other spas use for facials. Other than that it was great facial and very relaxing. Pleasantly surprised to find this so close to home, am definitely planning a return vist to take advantage of some of their other services. Never would have known this little jewel was here if not for the Spa-Finder spa-week specials! Thanks Spa Finder!

I visited this spa for the first time and definately will be going back. The service was excellent the place was spotless and I enjoyed myself. Also, I did my research and for the price you cannot beat it. I will be going back.

Good Local Spa, Needs One Big Improvement
Visited for the first time during deal days and I was glad that I did. I would return but they could make some changes that would greatly improve the experience. 1. Minor but I consider it a problem - I waited 30 mins because they were running late. No one explained the delay while I sat in one of two uncomfortable chairs. I asked when someone with a later appt got in before me. I was told simply that they were behind. Improvement: keep customer informed, comfortable seating, tea or other beverage offering 2. Big Problem: One bathroom with one shower in it. I waited to go in to this bathroom to change, no vichy shower in treatment rooms so everyone waits for bathroom to shower, the aesthetician needs to time everything carefully. Also as I needed to dry my hair after treatments, the hairdryer is in the same bathroom. People were knocking on this door - it was very uncomfortable. Big improvement needed here! Services offered are very imaginative, products used were excellent, the aesthetician that did my services (Dana) was excellent, the overall facilities were very nice. With the exception of the bathroom situation I would have rated this spa highly. I would consider returning again.

Almost perfect
I took advantage of the spa deals week and had the sea salt glow. I had Lisa, who is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. She has a great touch and really puts you at ease. The treatment is great. It starts off with a tingly cooling scrub that Lisa expertly applied. After a warm shower, she gave a relaxing massage with the moisturizer. My skin feels so soft and smooth; I don't think it has ever felt this good. There were a few minor cons, there is very limited locker and seating space; the shower doors get a little stuck so the shower was not as warm as it could have been. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place.

Heaven In My Own Back Yard
For someone who thought they would not like a spa experience I was totally wrong. I went once and have been going back once a month since then. It truly is my heaven in my own back yard. The place is beautiful, relaxing and tranquil. The staff is very friendly and helpful to give you the best they have to offer. My advise is to go and experience what they have to offer you. I will continue to go to this spa and enjoy the services and tranquilly .
